Silvio Curto – A life among the pharaohs
An organic reconstruction of numerous conversations with this great but not adequately valued character to whom all Italian Egyptology, and that one of Turin in particular, owes much of its fame. Thanks to a series of meetings in which he narrated the memories of his life at full speed with great witty refinement, he allowed to reconstruct recent historical events and a Italy of little-know culture and, indirectly, the fundamental role that had in the recomposition, reconstraction and in the enhancement of all the Italian Egyptian collections. Thanks to his spirit of refined but affable old-fashioned gentleman, these stories are often enriched with amusing anecdotes.
