On planning the pyramidal apartments
From an examination of the sections of the major pyramids has emerged the constant use of similar measures and provisions that have made it possible to trace all those projects to the same design abacus, similar to our graph paper and to the grid used by the Egyptians and all artists up to contemporaries. In particular, in accordance with their chronological position, the fidelity of the projects deduced to this abacus has proved progressively more rigorous from the Bent pyramid, the first of this group, up to that of Khafra. Although in subsequent pyramids this agreement has almost disappeared as they lack the requisites of the apartments in the superstructure that unites those projects, traces of the use of the abacus can still be found in some details of all the subsequent pyramidal architecture.
