On planning the apartments of the major pyramids

Using exclusively the data provided by the archaeologists, this analysis of the apartments of the major pyramids revealed a common modular design of modern conception based on the repetition of square modules of identical dimensions, which also makes the existence of archives probable. In particular, from this research it emerged that the basic constraint of this design, but also of its realization, was constituted by the definition of the intersection of the descending entrance corridor with the ground line. Re-examining the apartments of the pyramid of Khufu in the light of this method, some anomalies have been understood, such as the presence of the unmotivated top step of the Grand Gallery. A definitive confirmation of the reliability of this hypothesis came from the analysis of the pyramid of Khafra where it was shown that the current apartments are the result of an occasional necessity. Since this rigid modularity is found in all pyramids with apartments in the superstructure, while it is more vague in those with apartments in the basement, it was concluded that only in the first case it was essential to have a very detailed project.
