Reconstruction of the original project of Snefru’s Bent pyramid

By adopting the modularity found in the other major pyramids and the precise measurements provided by Dorner, it was possible to reconstruct the construction events of the Bent Pyramid going back to what appears to have been the original project. In fact, from this analysis it was evident that the apartments were originally conceived on the same N-S floor but with the entrances on opposite sides, and that the architects continued to refer to it even in subsequent adaptations that led to the current configuration. It also emerged that within the current pyramid there are two previous phases/pyramids which are also modular, one of which has just begun while the next is indicated by the otherwise unjustified angle of the upper corridor. By this reconstruction almost all the current anomalies are justified and the minimal changes compared to the original project always show a close relationship with it and with modularity, as well as a clear analogy with Khufu’s apartments.
