Getting to know the pyramids

 

Popular booklet hinging on the definition of some fundamental and distinctive characteristics of the Egyptian pyramids. In addition to the demystification of some clichés about these buildings based exclusively on scientific data, this work summarily frames the historical, social and religious environment in which these buildings were conceived and built. This is followed by a description of the architectural features and the composition of the main Egyptian pyramid models, and ends with a brief overview of the period environment and the reasons that led to the abandonment of this typology.
